Back to Lush #1
If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my Lush tower picture. Clearly my new-found love for Lush products doesn’t seem to be going away, so much so that I’ve actually managed to collect enough empty containers to take part in the Back to Lush scheme. It’s pretty simple, collect five of their black pots (any size) and you can trade them in in-store for a free fresh face mask. So I thought I would share with you the Lush products I’ve used up so far.

Back to Lush #1: Cleanser Angels On Bare Skin and Herbalism
One of the first products I tried from Lush was Angels On Bare Skin, it’s a nice gentle cleanser which is perfect for the face and the body. Angels On Bare Skin is made with 12 natural ingredients including almonds which means it also helps to exfoliate your skin. Simply take a small amount of this solid cleanser and add a little bit of water to form a paste, then apply it to your face. I found this to be a very moisturising cleanser, which left my skin feeling smooth and soft. As you can see, I managed to finish two 100g tubs, however, I feel like it left my skin feeling oily as the day went by so decided to try a different cleanser. I’m currently using my second tub of the Herbalism cleanser. This has 11 natural ingredients, it also contains almonds. Compared to Angels On Bare Skin I find the consistency of this to be a little more grain-like, this means it takes a little while longer to wash off the face. I’ve found this cleanser works much better for my acne prone skin, although I have to say it doesn’t smell all that great!

Face Mask
Back to Lush #1: Face Mask Mask Of Magnaminty
I’m an on-off face mask user so was happy to discover Mask Of Magnaminty. Unlike Lush’s other fresh face masks which need to be kept in the fridge and have a shelf life of two weeks, Mask Of Magnaminty is a self-preserving face mask .  This is another multiple purpose product which can be used both on the face and the body. It’s made with 14 ingredients including peppermint oil, honey, evening primrose seeds and aduki beans. This product also doubles as an exfoliator. I don’t think this mask did anything super amazing to my skin but it works well if you want a quick treatment for your face.

Back to Lush #1: Moisturiser Celestial
Celestial is a great moisturiser especially if like me, you have dry skin. It’s very rich so a small amount really does go a long way. This product is made with 11 ingredients including fair trade vanilla water, almond oil, almond milk and fair trade organic cocoa butter. After applying this my face feels soft, smooth and ready for the day. And I’ve found it to be a great addition to my skincare routine along with the Million Dollar Moisturiser.
